  I recently stopped by Children of America Smithtown to check out the facility and staff. Not only was the building clean and well maintained, the staff was also phenomenal as well. They were helpful and able to answer all of my questions. I found this child care center to be suitable for my child's needs. The staff was very caring and seemed to be very knowledgable in many aspects of child care and well prepared for any emergencies that might arise.

  Both my daughters have been attending COA since they were 3 months old. Miss Patty and Miss Dora in the Infant rooms are amazing and warm. I was so at ease when dropping off both of my children when they were infants because of them. Miss Jessica fully potty trained my daughter when she was in her class. It is difficult enough to train one child and it amazed me how well she handled it with a handful of children learning at once. My four-year old is now in Miss Vanessa and Miss Allison’s class. I couldn’t say enough good things about them both. She has learned so much from them and I am so impressed. She is writing her name and letters and tells me about everything she learns. My 1 ½ year old is in Miss Amanda’s class and she is the perfect teacher for that room. Her vocabulary is expanding and she is always so happy to run into her class when dropping her off. Miss Catherine and Mr. Chris are wonderful with both of my children. I couldn’t be happier with the new Management. Miss Kelly really knows how to juggle the different roles her job entails and she still has a special relationship with each child as she started as a teacher in the infant room (My girls adore her). I am so happy with the communication of Management which I felt was lacking prior to the new management. Miss Mary Kate & Miss Amy are a great addition to Management. My daughters enjoy every single teacher in the building. I highly recommend this daycare center.
